Why I chose PJP

Port Jackson Partners appealed to me primarily because of the incredible people I met throughout the interview process - not only their professional calibre, but also their approachable and open style which made me feel very comfortable.

I was also drawn to PJP's focus on idea-intensive problem-solving, as opposed to process-intensive projects that can be more of a focus in other consulting firms.

This translates to incredibly diverse and engaging projects across an impressive range of clients and industries. It also means that as a Business Analyst, you are making a real impact, straight away.

Training and Development

The benefit of working in small teams, especially for someone at the start of their career like myself, is the opportunity to take on early responsibility, which has definitely accelerated my growth and development. With industry specialists and strategy experts for colleagues - all of whom encourage curiosity and are generous with their time - I have learnt an immeasurable amount even in my first few months here at PJP.

Particularly coming from a non-business background, I have been delighted and impressed by PJP's commitment to new-starter as well as firm-wide training and development; from formal initiatives such as the Analyst induction program and PJP strategy training day, to less structured mentoring programs, including catch-ups with assigned buddies and development leaders. These initiatives have also made the experience of starting a new job smooth and enjoyable.
