Over the past 20 years Andrew has delivered more than 130 strategy projects. He has focused on corporate and business unit strategy, marketing and pricing and technology economics. He has worked on complex strategic issues mainly in financial services, airlines, telecommunication, FMCG, industrials and Government policy. During this time he completed three major Australian Government policy reviews into nationwide health and medical research investment.

Andrew has also performed interim management secondment roles as Head of Strategy, and later as Head of Marketing for major financial services organisations. He was non-executive Director on ASX listed mining developer Waratah Coal Pty Ltd. till its takeover in 2009.

Prior to Port Jackson Partners, Andrew gained most his consulting experience at strategy boutiques Pacific Strategy Partners and Australian Consulting Partners.

Andrew has also been involved in new business start-ups, helping set up the pricing optimisation firm Optimal Decisions Group, where he worked in Australia and the UK on advanced elasticity based pricing techniques for financial services organisations. He has also recently started the online fashion marketplace Revoir with his partner Claire.

Outside of work Andrew stays fit going to the gym several times a week, and occasional early morning runs along Bondi Beach. With his partner Claire, he enjoys hiking, swimming and scuba diving. Recent adventures include diving with hundreds of hammerhead sharks at Cocos Island, and hiking the Overland track in Tasmania.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from UNSW and an MBA from AGSM.
